Description
Pearl sugar is granulated white sugar that is processed into small grains. The grains are then polished to a pearl like finish.
Lars Own Pearl Sugar is used to make traditional Belgian Waffles. When added to the dough, the sugar caramelizes and creates pockets of sweetness.
Pearled sugar adds a decorative touch to baked goods, especially when food coloring is added.
This distinctive and especially sweet sugar does not melt when baked, and retains it’s appearance after baking.
