To use, simply place butter in bowl section, add ¼ cup cold water to the base, and insert bowl section into base. The water helps keep the butter fresh by forming a protective seal. Bowl holds up to ½ cup butter. The Better Butter Keeper protects your butter from outside odors and keeps it fresh for up to 20 days. Each piece has a lovely white finish; a perfect addition to any kitchen. Dishwasher safe.
