Description
Dark chocolate from the kitchen of a chef who has never been in a particular hurry about anything, lifted by yuzu, the small, knobby Japanese citrus that tastes like lemon, lime, and grapefruit decided to share a room.
The yuzu arrives bright and floral. The chocolate carries it.
Ways to enjoy
- Broken into squares to close a fish or shellfish dinner, after the last sip of cold white wine.
- Folded into hot cream and chilled overnight, for a yuzu pot de crème.
- One square at the end of a long week, in the small hour before bed.
Belongs with sweets and antipasti, where the meal has been Italian-leaning and the dessert wants to travel.
