Mulato Chiles offer a complex blend of flavors that include chocolate and licorice with hints of cherry and tobacco. Mulato chile is one of the “trinity” of chiles required for traditional Mexican molé. These chile pods come whole, dried, and tinned for freshness. At the Santa Fe School of Cooking we only use the finest chiles, herbs, and spices from Mexico and New Mexico!
