Thin, golden, butter-edged. The classic French biscuit you eat alongside a small cup of something dark, or perched on the rim of a bowl of mousse.
La Sablésienne has made them for decades, by hand, in a small atelier in the Loire. The pale green box belongs on a shelf, on a tea tray, on a folded linen cloth.
